We sit down with Kevin Eastman to discuss his involvement with the film, what he’d like to see in a sequel, and who his favorite Turtle is!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have been a part of pop culture for nearly 40 years. Whether it’s comic books, toys, video games–or yes, even movies–the Turtles’ presence is felt everywhere. Producers/Co-Writers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg brought back the turtles recently with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem (you can check out my review HERE). To say that this film is a love letter to all things TMNT would be a bit of an understatement. So I was beyond excited to be able to talk about the film with one of the original co-creators Kevin Eastman. We get into how involved he was in Mutant Mayhem, and who his favorite Turtles is. I’ve watched many Turtles documentaries over the years and was shocked to have found out some new information. You’re not going to want to miss this!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem plot synopsis:
After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.
